Matt Guarente has been advising senior leaders in business for almost two decades, focusing on industries including banking, aerospace and defence, asset management, primary industry, energy, and healthcare. He has forged trusted relationships with those leaders and also senior communicators who support them.  
 
  His approach is to understand all he can not just about a business and its sector, but the stakeholders who form views about the organisation. Asking tough questions, and facilitating better responses, he brings to bear clear insight and deep experience of being on the outside, and also the inside, of the pressing issues of the day.  
 
  Matt founded Guarente + Company in 2021. Previously, Matt was the Partner managing an industry-leading coaching team based in London. Prior to his consultancy career, he lead the Energy and then Equities desk at Bloomberg News; he was Investment Editor then Associate Editor at the Scotsman Group; he was a director in the New Business Division at The Conde Nast Publications, and edited a range of publications from Trader Monthly to The Drinks Business. He was also a Visiting Lecturer for Masters students at City University's prestigious Department of Journalism.
